* Handbook: House Liao states that both Patrick Rivoli and a Killian Rivoli are the father of Evadne Rivoli, for the purposes of this article it is assumed that Patrick is her father as he is a character established in previous books and as such the attribution of Killians death in 3066 is also assumed to be that of Patrick.
+
* Handbook: House Liao states once that a "Killian" Rivoli was Evadne's father. This is assumed to be a error; Patrick's name is given in the color insert of the same book and is consistent with his biography found in House Liao (The Capellan Confederation).
