Description
A Solaris VII BattleMech, the Ronin was introduced by Solaris Arms in the mid-3050's. As their entry in the medium range weight class arenas. The original Ronin was based on a Centurion chassis.[2]
Armament
The Ronin's main armament is the Sutel Precision Line Large Pulse Laser and a pair of Luxor 3R LRM-10 launchers. These are backed up by a single Diverse Optics ER Small Laser, a Claw, and two Solaris Arms "Pepperspray" M-Pods.
Variants
- SA-RN - The original model used four Artemis IV FCS aided SRM-4 launchers protected by CASE instead of the LRM-10 launchers on the SA-RN7. It sported a prototype claw, lacks the ER Small Laser, and has slightly less armor. BV (1.0) = ??, BV (2.0) = 1,084[3]
