Rossiton (died 22 October 3099) was a solahma warrior killed in battle. He was a former Ice Hellion.

History

Rossiton was a trueborn of Clan Ice Hellion. He participated in Operation ICE STORM, under the command of SaKhan Connor Rood, and survived its aftermath. After the absorption of his clan, he became a Goliath Scorpion warrior and roseg to the rank of Star Colonel. However, having never won a Bloodname, he became a solahma warrior in some date prior to 3099. He was then assigned as the commanding officer of the Trinary Sigma Two, on Iota Base, in the newly colonized planet of Graystone. Found in the Escorpión Imperio, it was a newly established colony world. The 3 July 3099, he presided a meeting with his subordinates, and talked in private with Star Captain Lishi. Acknowledging her as a fellow Ice Hellion abtaka, he complained about their survival and what he perceived as the fading of former clan's traditions. After telling her they were a dying breed, she replied to him that both will die before his fears became a reality. In reply, he called her optimist for that like Khan Connor Rood's attempts to preserve their culture.[1]

On 12 October of the same year, a second-line force of the Hanseatic League RDF 5 'Mechs attacked Graystone, to raze the colony in construction. Rossiton, which had keep his 'Mech, engaged them. Despite his age and being alone, he faced them and fought at least seven Hansa 'Mechs in the landing pad, before falling. It is implied than he died in combat. However, his sacrifice won time to the rest of his unit to mobilize, and distracted the Hansa warriors for Lishi to down several before dying herself.[2]

BattleMech/Vehicle

Rossiton's only known 'Mech was an ancient Flashman.[3]
