Tenth Marik Militia[edit]
In 3025 Samuel would be given command of the Tenth Marik Militia, the same unit his grandfather had once commanded.[1]
First Marik Militia[edit]
By 3039 Garibaldi would be serving as the executive officer of the First Marik Militia. In this role he acquired, using his family's funds, a lance of Schrek PPC carriers which he attached to his command lance. He publicly announced this was intended to provide his personal Awesome BattleMech with a mobile source of PPC and fusion engine replacements, but fortunately for unit morale the First Marik's armor corps appreciated the joke.[2]
Andurien Secession[edit]
While fighting Andurien troops on Xanthe III in 3037, Captain-General Duncan Marik was killed. Colonel Garibaldi took command of the Free Worlds League troops, and rallied them long enough for reinforcements to arrive. Thomas Marik, the new Captain-General, promoted him to General.[3][4]
Clan Invasion[edit]
By 3050 Samuel had assumed command of the entire Marik Militia Brigade.[5]
BattleMech[edit]
Garibaldi was known to pilot an Awesome BattleMech.[2]
