Located an hour from Hayward, the Hayward Arena is one of Solaris VII's many small arenas. This arena is used in the Solaran League of Independent Stables.[1]

The Arena
This arena is usually used as a gunnery range encompassing several hundred of square meters of rough wooden terrain. A new "arena" is cordoned off every time a match is to be fought, ensuring each match is a bit different and assuring the terrain has time to recover. A fence transmits an encoded signal to each of the participant's onboard systems (that have been turned to receive it), and in this way all participants known where the boundaries are. Participants that cross them are disqualified.[1]
