Warren Kurita was the great-grandson of Grant Kurita, an exiled son of Coordinator Parker Kurita. His distant claim to the throne was secured by marriage to Siriwan McAllister. He was the twelfth Coordinator.[1]

Although proud of his family name, Warren was an obscure member of House Kurita and never had any expectation of becoming Coordinator.
