ClassUnknown Frigate

History

The CCS Zhaoqing frigate was a WarShip in service with Capellan Confederation.

When Operation LION began on the 4th of April 2832, an AFFS naval flotilla jumped into the system and captured the recharge station at the nadir jump point in a pitched battle conducted where AFFS WarShips battled a pair of Capellan frigates, the CCS CSS Jiaxing and CCS Zhaoking.

The AFFS warship escort damaged the Jiaxing so badly that it had to be scuttled afterwards, but the CCS Zhaoqing survived the first engagement to continue to be a thorn in the Davions' side throughout the campaign.[1]

Notes

While the specific class of this vessel is unknown, the Capellan Navy fielded large numbers of Essex I vessels which fall within the weight range of a frigate
