Carol J. Sterling was a resident of Donegal as of 3078.[1]

Following the death of her father, who provided her with an inheritance including some cash, Sterling looked to invest her new wealth. In aid of this, she became a caller on 2 February 3078 to an investment show broadcast by the Donegal Broadcasting Company, McLaughlin's Power Hour. The host of the show, Darrell McLaughlin, advised her to make long term investments in companies such as Nashan Diversified, ComPress, Tharkan Media Associates (TMA) and StarCorps Industries, despite the bear market which was then being experienced.[1]
