Sho-sa Gerber Junco was the adjutant to the CO of the Seventh New Samarkand Regulars, with the Draconis Combine, as of 3144.[1][2][3]

Junco participated in the Combine's successful conquest of the Federated Suns' world of Palmyra, with the Seventh in 3144, known as the Palmyra Disaster. During this campaign Junco and his CO Tai-sa Henrietta Margolis were separated from their Command Company in a brutal thunderstorm, and while sheltering under a rock shelf, observed a column of heavy armor from the First Federated Suns Lancers seeking the bypass the Combine's position in order to recapture the city of Sawle. Allowing the Lancer tanks which outnumbered them 3:1 to pass, Margolis and Junco then ambushed them in a narrow pass at long range using Arrow IV and PPC fire, destroying the entire column.[1][2][3]
