He was a MechWarrior of the Kline Bloodline, and earned the position of warrior as a part of Kindraa Kline within Clan Fire Mandrill. When Kindraa Kline launched a surprise attack on Clan Star Adder in 3067, Saginaw fought on Tathis and defeated four Star Adder MechWarriors before being defeated and taken as abtakha.[1]
After his capture Saginaw was unwilling to cooperate with his new Clan masters. That changed when he learned of the political maneuvering conducted by Kindraa Mick-Kreese that had allowed them to absorb Kindraa Kline after the conflict with the Star Adders. Saginaw dedicated himself to regaining his position as a MechWarrior, and within a year he had managed to become a part of the Star Adder touman. Saginaw went on to serve in the Seventy-ninth Dragoon Cluster, piloting a Shadow Cat, and planned to earn the Kline Bloodname, destroy Kindraa Mick-Kreese, and recreate Kindraa Kline.[1]
