Ghost Adept Omega Berit Smitty was a Word of Blake Manei Domini, who commanded a battle armor squad in the 47th Shadow Division during the Word of Blake Jihad.[1]

Personal Appearance[edit]

Smitty was reputed to be tall, sleek and graceful, with fair skin and golden blonde hair. Her looks were however marred by the jagged scars and metallic Manei Domini implants, which made her face a mask of shinning metal and glowing optics.[1]

History[edit]

A reconnaissance and tracking specialist, together with fellow battle armor commander Joe Richmond, Smitty was linked to over 600 mercenaries killed during the Blakist occupation of Galatea during 3072 and 3073, often catching her prey in brutal ambushes while they were away from their combat machines. Her completely dispassionate manner in which she killed during these ambushes earned her the moniker the "Bionic Witch of Galaport".[1]

During these anti-insurgent actions, Smitty's unit often worked in "choir" formations with the OmniMech Level III of Poltergeist Precentor Sigma Tamiel, the Watching Hands III-Gamma.[2]

Her success led to the Mercenary Review and Bonding Commission and Allied Mercenary Command putting a significant bounty of the head of Smitty and Richmond, of 100,000 C-bills each, but a number of bounty hunters who sought to claim that prize for Smitty did not survive the attempt.[1]

Battle Armor[edit]

Smitty was known to pilot a suit of Djinn battle armor.[1]
