History
While in Free Worlds League employ the unit could replace its losses with ease, because of the constant addition of new personnel. The fast-moving 'Mechs pinned down a much larger Kuritan force on Dromini IV. Then the 2nd regiment came in for the final assault. Only the breakdown of the Steiner defense saved the remaining DCMS forces.[citation needed]
During the Succession Wars the First Dismal Disinherited used a large number of light, fast 'Mechs, particularly Locusts. In fact the prominence of this design led to the unit being nicknamed O'Hare's Plague of Locusts.[2]
The Dismal Disinherited joined the Allied Mercenary Command in 3067.[3][4][5] The First was stationed on New Canton in 3067.[6]
The First Dismal Disinherited was on Outreach when the Word of Blake destroyed the world in their second assault. The First was destroyed along with the other defenders.[7]
