The Forty-sixth Cavaliers were a front-line Cluster of Clan Nova Cat.

History[edit]

In 3053, the Forty-sixth Cavaliers were assigned to Delta Galaxy and took up a garrison position defending Courchevel alongside the Fourteenth Garrison Cluster of Omega Galaxy.[1] In 3057, the Black Thorns mercenary unit landed on the world and were engaged mainly by the Forty-sixth's First and Second Lightning Fangs Binaries.[2][3]

Operation Bulldog[edit]

During Operation BULLDOG, the Forty-sixth Cavaliers were still stationed on Courchevel with the Fourteenth Garrison Cluster when the Ryuken-roku challenged their commander to a Trial of Possession that involved a series of shooting duels, which the DCMS unit won.[4][5]

Post-Abjuration[edit]

The Cluster moved was stationed on Labrea in 3062.[6] The Cluster was training on Tukayyid in 3063 when the Ghost Bears launched their offensive against the Draconis Combine. The Cavaliers, along with the rest of Delta Galaxy, invaded the Ghost Bear Dominion.[7] By 3067, the Cluster had moved to take position on Tabayama.[8]

The Jihad[edit]

The Cavaliers as part of Delta Galaxy saw action early in Operation SCOUR, serving on the Federated Suns front as a part of Group III, which attacked Tybalt in early 3077 as part of the first wave of assaults.[9] In May 3077, they took part in the assault on Tigress. Capellan guerrilla fighters detonated a number of dirty nuclear devices, causing Delta Galaxy and the Forty-sixth massive casualties.[10] In 3079 the Cluster was on Outreach.[11]

The Republic Era[edit]

In 3081, the Forty-sixth Cavaliers along with the rest of Delta Galaxy were gifted to Devin Stone's newly forming Republic Armed Forces.[12]
