Andrew Steiner was an officer in the Armed Forces of the Federated Suns.

History

Early life

Andrew was born on Somerset to MechWarrior parents of a cadet line of House Steiner.[1]

He was the older brother of future Archon Adam Steiner.

Clan Invasion

Andrew served as the Kommandant of the Somerset military academy during the early days of the Clan Invasion. When Somerset was invaded by Clan Jade Falcon, Andrew rallied the cadets in defense but was quickly overwhelmed. He was taken as isorla and spent a period in a Clan re-education camp.

Death and Legacy

Andrew was killed at an unspecified point during the Clan Invasion.

Adam's efforts to re-take Somerset and rescue of his brother were the subject of a semifictionalized holoseries created as a moral boosting tool by the Tharkad Broadcast Company

Adam would name his first born son, and later Archon of the Federated Suns, Andrew II in his honor.

BattleMechs

The fictional version of Andrew piloted a Wolfhound during the invasion of Somerset, and later his Brother Adam's Axman during the retaking of the planet.

It is unclear if the actual Andrew piloted these mechs, or if this was part of the holoseries.
