Bolin (born - died ) was a Smoke Jaguar Elemental who fought in the Battle of Tukayyid.

Personal History

Bolin was a Trueborn of Clan Smoke Jaguar. He was a member of the Sixth Jaguar Dragoons, and part of Operation REVIVAL. In May of 3052, his unit was the first to land on planet Tukayyid, and made a hot-drop over Dinju Heights, Bolin with them. When the planetary surface was visible, Bolin had an idea, and waited more than the others to activate his jump jets; he wanted to obtain the honor of being the first Clan warrior to set foot on the decisive battlefield... even if it killed him. Bolin awaited too much, and even the long burning, or the luck to fall over trees, were enough to kill his velocity, and the impact against the ground was devastating for him.[1] It was only thanks to his Battle armor's medical systems than he wake up, but he had the spinal cord severed and both legs shattered. Determined to obtain too the honor of firing the first shot, Bolin leveled himself over a elbow and fired an SRM over a nearby ComGuard Guillotine, but he missed.

Aftermath

Bolin was found by his Star and rescued after the battle, being evacuated from the planet. His commander reprimanded him for having broken the formation, and Bolin's military career was finished, but he was happy, as everybody granted him the honor of being the first Clan warrior to land on Tukayyid the Accursed.

Notes

  • It is doubtful than, after having ignored orders, and fight in Tukayyid, Bolin's wounds were healed by his Clan.
  • Bolin's actions in Tukayyid, ignoring orders, rushing to the battled blindly searching glory, and missing his first and only shot, are the perfect allegory of the majority of his clan's actions in Tukayyid.
