Overview[edit]
A Command and Control Bunker was the eyes and ears of a Castle Brian commander. While capable of operating completely sealed-off within the depths of the Castle Brian, the Command and Control Bunker allowed direct observation during operations, complete with a wide variety of sensors, observation posts and communications equipment. The bunker extended a further two levels below ground, representing storage areas and tunnel/elevator access to other parts of the complex. While their function also made these structures key targets during an assault on a Castle Brian, the destruction of a Command and Control Bunker would only hamper the defenders, rather than decapitate their command structure.[1]
