History
The Dainwu ("Great Tiger"[1]) was an Overlord-class DropShip serving with Warrior House Hiritsu of the Capellan Confederation as of 3058. It was painted in the Hiritsu colors of green and black, and bore the House insignia.[2]
During the conquest of Kaifeng in 3058 the Dainwu carried six Thrush aerospace fighters, but not its full complement of thirty-six BattleMechs which were instead divided across the Dainwu and two Union-class vessels (one of them the Lao-tzu) so that House Hiritsu's tactical flexibility would not be limited.[2]
The Dainwu was also deployed during House Hiritsu's operations on Hustaing in 3060, where it apparently served as command ship.[3]
