Goubellat

The Goubellat system is the location of at least one habitable world or construct, and as at 3145 was located in the New Samarkand Prefecture of the New Samarkand Military District within the Draconis Combine.[1][2]

System Description

The Goubellat system is located close to the Schirmeck and Senorbi systems.[1][2]

System History

The Goubellat system colonized during or shortly after the First Exodus from Terra.[3]

Reunification War

In the lead up to Operation UNION HOLD, the Star League invasion of the Outworlds Alliance, Goubellat was a border world between the Draconis Combine and the Outworlds Alliance. The Star League Defense Force marshalled the Forty-second Brigade - a part of the Fourteenth Division within V Corps - on Goubellat prior to the invasion; the Forty-second left Goubellat to deploy forward to Bad News during 2581.[6][47][48]

The Jihad

Goubellat was captured by a Clan Snow Raven task force on the 1st of June 3069, part of a wave of attacks launched against the Draconis Combine by the Snow Ravens.[39]
