Legends among Cruiser-class WarShips argued that this class was introduced to service and named by a committee led by Captain Hobb V. Ess.[1]

Notes[edit]

According to the author of the Cruiser-class cruiser, Michael Miller, Hobb V. Ess was a joke among naval personnel of the Terran Hegemony.[1] Said aloud, the name sounds like, "Captain Obvious."
