History
John Kikuchi was a MechWarrior in service with the Draconis Combine prior to the Jihad. while serving as a part of the Ryuken-yon regiment, John became the first MechWarrior to pilot the new Black Hawk-KU OmniMech in action. John was the Chu-i who led the volunteer company known as the Dark Sword during Operation BIRD DOG. Formed from volunteers from Ryuken-yon, the Dark Sword landed on Hyner, harassing and disrupting the Clan Smoke Jaguar forces there in advance of Operation BULLDOG. John and his Black Hawk-KU were considered to be paragons of the flexible operations paradigm that the Ryuken regiments favored.[1]
