Joseph Robson was, until his death in 3067, a cadet at the Nellus Academy.
History[edit]
Joseph's parents ran one of Nestor's wineries. The family had a sizable home, including a multilevel training dojo.[1]
In October 3067, Joseph was part of a group of eight top Nellus Academy cadets sent on what was meant to be a straightforward voyage to Concord with General Gurald Eichner, in theory as a public relations event in honor of Nestor's new refueling station. Less openly, the cadets were meant to help detect a Lyran spy operating at the Nestor spaceport.[2] After setting off on the Requirement on 21 October, Eichner and the cadets ran into trouble: hijackers, the Lyran-hired Bloody Stoats, who came to capture the general.[3] Clashes between the cadets, led by Joseph, and the hijackers led to the DropShip crashing on Phobos, a planetoid in the Gienah system that held the Stoats' base. Fighting continued, and League forces were called in for evacuation.[4]
During a raid on the Stoats' base to recover Eichner, cadet Sigrid Zelenova found and stole Stoats CO Deimos von Schetzle's Commando, which she handed over to Joseph.[5] Joseph fought valiantly, destroying multiple enemy vehicles before finally sacrificing himself to block artillery fire. He was listed on the Roll of the Eagles for his deeds.[6]
Description[edit]
Joseph had dusky skin and a solid, fit build. He was clean cut, with a shaved head.[7]
BattleMechs[edit]
Joseph piloted a Hercules in training. On Phobos, he used a Commando stolen from Deimos.[8]
