On 6 June 3071, the Word of Blake detonated a series of neutron bombs which had been hidden throughout Nova Roma, the capital city of Alphard and the Marian Hegemony, annihilating the population of the city and killed Julius O'Reilly and most of the Marian Senate.[3]
