Kim Yaro was a MechWarrior in Wilson's Hussars.[1][2]
History
Kim Yaro has never cared about the reputation of the Hussars, or the specifics of the contracts. All Yaro cared about was being able to pilot a Mech. An exceptional scout, she runs into difficulty engaging overwhelming numbers of enemies, which has resulted in her ejection twice.[1]
In 3033, noted salvage prospecter Pedro Ellingsen finally deciphered the map to a Star League storehouse his father gave him[3]. The map pointed to Illyria, a planet long rumored to have Star League Castles Brian[4]. Ellingsen mounted an expedition to Illyria and discovered a Castle Brian containing not only SLDF matériel, but a memory core almost the identical to that found four years earlier on Helm. Unfortunately for Ellingsen, a joint Illyrian Palatinate-ComStar taskforce came to arrest Ellingsen's expedition for looting. Wilson's Hussars, along with Yaro and her Locust, were hired to supplement the taskforce.[5][6][7]

Game Rules
Yaro is a Regular MechWarrior (Gunnery 4, Piloting 5) with the Eagle's Eyes Special Piloting Ability[1]. She had previously been described (in a now apocryphal source) as a Veteran MechWarrior (Gunnery 3, Piloting 3) as of 3033[6].
