Planetary History

On the 7th of March 3071 Principia was targeted by raiders from the nearby Duchy of Andurien, although the attack ultimately failed.

During their time stationed on Principia the Kraken Unleashed mercenary unit worked with the local shipwright industry to develop a new infantry capability for themselves: Submersible Mechanized Infantry. The Kraken Unleashed infantry made extensive use of locally-manufactured 20-ton Harpoon 5-man parasubmersibles, which were small enough to be transported aboard other transport vessels and rapidly redeployed anywhere onworld. This gave the Kraken Unleashed a new infantry force capable of repelling even a determined underwater BattleMech attack.
