The enigmatic Santo was a MechWarrior who served in the Seventeenth Recon Regiment, also known as Camacho's Caballeros.

History

Born on one of the three Southwest Trinity worlds, Santo was serving in the Caballeros in 3056 when they were employed by Chandrasekhar Kurita to provide security for one of his companies, Hachiman Taro Enterprises. By this point, Santo was a captain and commanded Infante Company within the Third Battalion,[1] under the command of Force Commander Peter "Singer" White Nose Pony.[2]

Santo was one of the descendants of a family of nobles whose children invariably became champions at masked wrestling; he was never seen without the silver mask he always wore, and only ever went by the name "Santo." He was renowned for his performance in the popular BattleMech training brawls which were known as lucha libre among the Caballeros.[1]
