Planetary History
Operation Guerrero
Shuen Wan was one of a number of worlds that saw combat during Operation Guerrero, with Barrett's Fusiliers fighting on behalf of the Free Worlds League until their redeployment in support of the Capellan Confederation.[19]
The Jihad
On the 17th of July 3073, forces from the Capellan Confederation raided Shuen Wan as a response to the retaliatory raids conducted in late May by the Duchy of Oriente against the Capellan worlds of Boardwalk, Eom and Jasmine in May - raids conducted in response to the savage attack on Les Halles by Warrior House White Tiger earlier in the year. As a warning against further raids from Oriente forces, the raid on Shuen Wan saw the Capellan forces use a number of tactical nuclear weapons.[20][21]
