Additional tips
Here's some extra tips to help you get around in the wiki:

• If you're not registered, then please consider doing so. At the very least, you'll have a UserPage that you own, rather than sharing one with the community.

Sure. In fact, you can do it. Here are the steps:

1. Create a page named User talk:Doneve/Archive1. "Archive1" can be any name you want.
2. Copy all posts from your talk page (by opening the "edit" tab).
3. Paste the posts on the Archive1 page.
4. Save Archive1.
5. Delete the copied posts from your talk page.
6. Add a link to Archive1 at the top of your talk page. (ex: *[[User talk:Doneve/Archive1|Archive1]])

...on the completion of your CCG project. Nic's interest in the category is notable, for it was one of the first projects he completed (and bumped up BTW's article count considerably). WarhawkPPC and picture sources

Hi Doneve, thank you for updating the files so quickly. But WarhawkPPC is a Meta-source at best - the pictures are actually taken from various computer games I gather. The correct source would thus not be WarhawkPPC but whatever game they took the picture from. Frabby 17:54, 6 April 2010 (UTC)

Hey, Doneve: Per the 5th Guideline of Policy:Images, all images need to have a descriptive caption, like you provided for Gallery of Camospec images. Please go back and add captions to the other galleries you've created. Scanning

Hint: When you upload scanned image - raise it's contrast, so that black would be black, and white would be white. (ctrl+L in photoshop to open Levels menu, than move arrows on left an right towards the middle) - this way images will look like that instead of like that, with text from other side visible and black being dark-gray. :) The Colorful Project 16:40, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

Well, you don't have to - each more advanced image-software got the "Levels" option somewhere. Also scanners in their native software have an option to tune-up the contrast. And it's always like: Pretty image > not-so-pretty image ;) The Colorful Project 20:53, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

Didn't hear any objection to adding the Small Craft/ASF line to DropShip and WarShip infoboxes, so I just did that. It's an optional field, so if there are no values, the line will be ignored. SLDF Articles

Hi Doneve. Question: Why aren't you listing example: Why isn't X Corps listed as 209th Light Horse Regiment‎'s parent command?. Also, X Corp would have the parent command as First Army. -- Wrangler 20:17, 7 May 2010 (UTC)

Numbering the SLDF units inthe cat page

The SLDF unit designations only go up to four digits (9999th Mechanized Infantry Regiment being the highest) so you do not need to add the fifth zero on at the beginning.. it is redundant. Keep it to four and the units should all be nice and ordered in the Cat page --Dmon 09:49, 8 May 2010 (UTC)

Just looking at the SLDF commands page and the 52nd Royal BattleMech Division is in the wrong place, it is mixed in with the regular Mech Divisions... I am tempted to leave it their. Merge Proposal for Cities articles

Hello Doneve, i believe its better to have the city articles your writing up to be merged into with the Tharkad article. There not enough information on them to warrent in my opinion its own individual article. I wrote something like this for Atreus. Infobox: Heat Sinks

I saw that you added a row for Heat Sinks to the Template:InfoBoxBattleMech. I modified your row slightly so that if the heat sink information is missing, the row disappears. That prevents a situation where there are a lot of 'Mechs with heat sink rows showing even though they're blank. (I've done the same thing to the Infoboxweapon template for Extreme range, and the DropShip infobox for small craft.)

It just makes the articles look a little cleaner if the blank rows aren't shown.--Mbear 18:46, 2 June 2010 (UTC)

Be Careful with Articles

Hi Doneve, i'm sorry bother you. I noticed couple article posted by a user named BigBear (13th Roaring Panthers Legion & The 1st Valkyries Legion‎), appeared online today. You edited them. These article had no sources, but extensively written. I believe they were Fan article stealthy being placed in Sarna. Please keep your eyes out for unsource articles! Multiple Jade Falcon Incursions

Hi Doneve, there haven up to 3075, three Jade Falcon Incurisons. The first one was also ended with Battle of Conventry which lead Victor Steiner-Davison to push for the creation of Second Star League. The second incursion is the one you referring to, that happened during the FedCom Civil War, it that one happened in 3064. Third one happened in 3068-69, when Falcons did brief incursion and it was mentioned in the Jihad Hot Spots books. -- Wrangler 13:39, 11 June 2010 (UTC)

Republic of the Sphere in Planet Articles

Hello Doneve. You've been alot info in the Planet article from WizKids website. Is possible to leave out information that include the governor, Population, Governor, Planetary Legate? This information is exclusively from year 3130, the planet article should not be dated to a certain year. I have given you another all-purpose award (your 8th - impressive!) because the admin awards you deserve for your incredible work on updating all the system coordinates - Diligence, Tireless Contributor and Community Service Award, respecitvely - unfortunately have not yet been implemented. I'm going to nominate you for the former two as soon as they become available, and would have given you the latter if we had it. Hy Frabby, ich schreib dir mal in deutsch, wenn es ok ist ;). Dank dir vielmals für den award, grml meine zeit wird ab nächstem monat leider kürzer, bin übern berg mit meiner krankheit, und kann wieder in meinem alten job anfangen (in der qualitätsprüfung eines grossen autokonzerns), was mich sehr freut nach über 1,5 Jahren krankenhaus, zuhaus, dann mal wieder im hospital, at home etc. (but my lap top was allways with me, and battletech). Ich denke mal nach 1,5 Jahren Krankenhaus ist es nicht schlecht, wenn man wieder zurück ins Leben kommt - da wird die BTW mit leben müssen daß Du auch mal was anderes machen willst. Glückwunsch zur Genesung! Frabby 20:15, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

Uploading images to articles

If you put images to articles always provide a size of them, even if you put them 1:1 scale into the articles. It saves a lot of work in future. Thanks, The Colorful Project 17:33, 7 July 2010 (UTC)
