Template:InfoBoxStateUnit The Ziliang Militia was the Davion Militia unit in charge of the defense of Ziliang.

History

The unit was raised by the AFFS after Ziliang was conquered prior to the Fourth Succession War.

In 3029, the Red Brood (the combat vehicle element of the planet's militia, who suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder, went berserk after losing half their number to a suicide bomber and attacked a crowded market, killing 177 people and injuring more than a thousand more. In the end, the Brood's Manticores and Drillsons were only stopped by the intervention of a small detachment of Ziliang Militia BattleMechs, who were forced to use deadly force to stop the Brood. A small memorial dedicated to the Red Brood's victims was built in the Chengdou Peace Park.[1]
