History[edit]
Clan Invasion[edit]
The Deia Militia was defending Deia system along the mercenary unit Zimmer's Zouaves in June 3055 when a pirate force unknown at that time (the Red Corsair pirates) burned in-system. Kommandant Israel of Zimmer's Zouaves rebuffed the Red Corsair's challenge, which stopped any kind of bidding between her forces, a consideration that might have given them some opportunity. The Corsairs engaged and quickly overwhelmed the Zouaves and the Militia, among them Kommandant Israel Zimmer's Marauder. The Zouaves withdrew along with the surviving elements of the Militia to defensive positions on good ground and settled in to wait for the expected reinforcements, in this case the Thirty-first Wolf Solahma. Instead, the Wolf forces dropped into the sector that the Zouaves and Militia were defending and destroyed them both, wishing to claim the position.[1]
