Falkener's Hussars were a newly raised mercenary unit that House Davion sent to seize an underground Capellan Confederation supply depot on New Hessen. They were routed by the 1st Ariana Grenadiers on 23 December 3002 in a 14-hour hide-and-seek battle, yet still inflicted considerable losses on the defenders including seven BattleMechs completely destroyed along with their experienced pilots.[1]
