History[edit]

In his early life, Mitchell Kurita had been banished from the Imperial Court by the Coordinator and also severely punished in his father's court on Tarazed. With no chance to ascend to the throne unless all others in House Kurita were gone, Mitchell instead built a career in economics.[2]

Mitchell spent several years as an apprentice to Chandrasekhar Kurita, who treated him like a son. Mitchell would eventually become the head of Amau Electronics and lead the company for two decades even through the hardships of the Clan Invasion.[2]

Chandrasekhar purchased a number of companies in and around 3057, which included Tanadi Computers.[3] When Tanadi took ownership of Amau Electronics, Mitchell stepped aside in order to get out from under his mentor's shadow. Chandrasekhar would put in a good word for him at the Imperial Court, and the Coordinator appointed Mitchell to lead Nissan General Industries in 3063,[2] a position he held until at least 3067.[4]
