Sourcebook Search
Hello. I am looking for a Sourcebook where Sun Tzu Liao talked about Isis Marik after he broke off the engagement. It was first person, maybe from his journal/diary? I remember reading it but can't remember the name now. Any help is welcome.--Aldous (talk) 20:03, 5 January 2014 (PST)

Need Templates to Follow
I would like to make an article on the Lorix Order, Sarna Mandate, etc. I also want to add a new combat regiment. What templates should I use? Also, I would like to rewrite the CapCon article to reflect the Handbook. The original comstar House Book was full of errors.--Aldous (talk) 04:57, 19 January 2014 (PST)
- Be careful when you work on the CapCon article - I found when I was working up articles for the Tikonov Union, Tikonov Grand Union, Capellan Holdfast/Republic/Hegemony/Commonality et al that there's a lot of detail in the original House book that's absent from the Handbook, but not contradicted by it, in particular when looking at the Age of War and pre-Age of War eras. The House book is perhaps the most detailed of all of the early FASA House books when it comes to the early history of the various states in the region, so you'll need to be careful to keep in the bits from both that don't contradict each other.
- The Help & How-to link on the left sidebar has templates for a lot of different article types in it, although I've found that in some cases, it's easier to take an existing article of the same type and use that as a template. Which combat regiment are you looking to write an article for? BrokenMnemonic (talk) 05:44, 19 January 2014 (PST)
- The St. Ives Academy Martial Cadre. I was surprised it didn't have one at all.--Aldous (talk) 16:40, 19 January 2014 (PST)
- It's probably just a reflection of where and when the unit was first mentioned - with everything here outside specific projects being updated on a fairly random basis because it's all volunteer efforts, if no-one who noticed was interested enough to write an article, it would never have been written. I'd suggest that for the St. Ives Academy Martial Cadre a good starting point would be to take the article for the Sarna Martial Academy Cadre, copy and paste it into a text editor and rework it offline to represent the St. Ives cadre instead. That's how I've been slowly working through things like the Tikonov Lancers units as and when work gives me a break. BrokenMnemonic (talk) 23:48, 19 January 2014 (PST)

Wikibreak
Hy Doneve,
I hope the wikibreak goes well. You'd better not be pushing yourself too hard - the nurses may be cute, but they aren't worth another trip to the hospital!
I'm currently doing 12-14 hour days for work at the moment, so I'm getting almonst nothing done here, but I keep telling myself that hopefully it'll only be for another few weeks... BrokenMnemonic (talk) 01:02, 22 January 2014 (PST)
What do you think
Hello Doneve, I hope you feeling fien. I have a short request at you. What is your opinion about my new brigade layout like the X corps of the SLDF. Furthermore you can take a look of two different versions of the formating. Tnx Neuling (talk) 17:11, 22 February 2014 (PST)
Question
What do you call the factoid when the book authors make a mistake that needs to be corrected in an errata?--Aldous (talk) 06:59, 23 February 2014 (PST)
InUse & 10th Ghost
Hi Doneve, please remember look at the template InUse when your go edit. I had that document open for editing. Your not suppose mess with it while the InUse template is there. I managed to save what i was working on. Take care -- Wrangler (talk) 13:36, 27 February 2014 (PST)
about tables at brigade pages
I think the tables are an good idea because they show which unit was active during the different time frames. Some units like the 1st and 4th MaC regiment were destroyed shortly after the Jiahd but were rebuild and active in 3145. I won't repeat the composition for each time frame because that would create unnnecessary redundance. It shows also how long the brigade was active. I hope that explain it in a good way. With best regards Neuling (talk) 12:13, 16 March 2014 (PDT)
- I know, but your formating of the tables are poor and have a lack of informations, and now i notice you use diverent table formats? Please stop or stard a discussion if the new format is etablished or not, thanks.--Doneve (talk) 13:07, 16 March 2014 (PDT)
