Planetary Description
Hachiman is a Draconis Combine world which was noted for having being unique to having both abundant of natural resources and human friendly planetary envirnoment. The world is renowned for being (as of 3025) center of computer and electronics for House Kurita.[1]
Notable Locations
- Masamori - Largest city on planet, it has poluted city which has large population of middle class workers, yakuza controlled disticts and manufacturing companies. the Yamato River courses throught the city from mountains which share its name. Its home of pleasure district known as Floating city.[2]
- Yoshitune Spaceport - Masamori's spaceport, east of the city itself. A city onto itself, the port is sometimes referred to as "Yoshi-Town". HTE Corporation expanded the facilities to allow non-House Kurita merchants who deal with the corporation to have more freedoms they won not necessary enjoy in the city proper. Crime in among the warehouses during 3050s were notablely high.[3]
- Hachiman Technical Institute - Founded by Coordinator Hugai Kurita, this school was created to focus school pursuits in training individuals in battlefield technologies. Students are trained salvage and repair conventional vehicles, Aerospace Fighters, BattleMechs, and DropShips. School specializing in ability to rebuilding machines with common scrap.[4]
- Tanadi Computers - Located in city of Masamori, Tanadi Computers was Combine domestic manufacturer of computers and communication equipment.[5] The company became revivals with HTE Corporation, where it ultimately fell into bankruptcy.
- Hachiman Taro Electronics - Also known as HTE, was founded in 3050s, the corporation was founed by Chandrasekhar Kurita. It was destroyed during the Jihad.
