History[edit]
After 3057, the Cohagen-based Esso-Xenon PetroChem Corporation hired the mercenary unit Blake Security Aviation to stop the increasing piracy they were facing. The unit set out to trap the Red Skull Legion with the explosives-laden Pacifica. When the majority of the Legion had drawn close, the Pacifica detonated, taking eight MechBuster fighters to the ground with it. The Red Skulls never mounted another organized raid again. There was speculation that the pirate leader, Genghis "Khan" Tolson, had died in the attack. Esso-Xenon was not magnanimous in victory, though, and decided to withhold the ten million D-bill bonus until they saw Tolson's body.[1][2]
