History
When in 2401, the Free Worlds League forces led by Captain-General Peter Marik were defeated by forces from the Capellan Confederation in the Kwamashu system, Hered Selaj, MP from Regulus, used the defeat as a political tool to try and engineer the passing of the Captain-General title from House Marik to House Selaj, a try that did not succeed. Even though he had several supporters in the Free Worlds League Parliament, Peter's actions after the defeat in Kwamashu made him look like an able leader and he was able to counter Hered's initiative.[1]
He ordered the founding of the Aitutaki Academy in 2414.[2]
