The title Knight of the Sphere is granted within the Republic of the Sphere.
Contents
History
The order was formed by Devlin Stone and David Lear in 3088.[1]
Ranks
Paladin
The title Paladin of the Republic is the hightst true title within the order. Numbering eighteen members, seventeen Paladins and the Exarch form the Council of Paladins the ruling body of the Republic, with the final member being the secretive Ghost Paladin.
The further honorific title of Paladin Exemplar is bestowed upon the oldest serving Paladin.[2]
Knight
The title of Knight of the Republic is reserved for one hundred members of the order.[3]
Knight-Errant
The title of Knight-Errant of the Republic is the lowest true rank within the order, the total number of Knight-Errant at any one time reflects the number of worlds within the Republic.[3]

- Alexi Holt: Knight who lead a mission to oversee HPG reactivation in planet Wyatt in 3135.
- Burton Marik-Davion: son of Paladin Victor Steiner-Davion, KIA in planet Wei during the Capellan Crusades.
- Castor Hobbes: Knight that lead refreshment troops to Skye and lost the planet
- Conner Rhys-Monroe, son of senator Gerald Monroe: Knight who resigned of his post in 3135, becoming the military leader of the Senate Alliance.
- Consuela Dagmar: Knight-Errant promoted a Knight during the Capellan Crusades.
- Cray Stansill: Knight who resigned of his post in 3135, becoming one of the military leaders of the Senate loyalist, until he was killed in combat by Tara Campbell.
- Crystal Liveston Synd: Ghost Knight who lead a Fidelis assault to planet Ryde in 3136.
- Deandra Lowe: Knight that doubles as a courier travelling and sending information between different parties and hence getting secrets important for the Republic.[4]
