If that's going to change, I'd prefer it to be nailed down before Historical: Liberation of Terra comes out and gives us rules for tiny sub-units... like Divisions. I'd be inclined to treat the Ducal Guard rules the same way I would any other unit where the sub-units have different rules from each other. If it was a merc regiment of 3 battalions where each battalion had different rules, I'd still write a single game notes section at the end of the article before the references and bibliography, but I'd include the rules as bullet points by battalion.
